Day 1: Depart home country
Flight toward Dubrovnik or Split. Begin reading the Medjugorje messages and the call to prayer, fasting and conversion.
Opening commissioning prayer at the gate.
Day 2: Arrive & transfer to Medjugorje
Arrive on the Croatian coast and transfer inland to Medjugorje (about 2.5–3 hours). Settle into the prayerful village rhythm.
Join the evening prayer programme: rosary and Mass at St James Church.
Day 3: Medjugorje — Apparition Hill
Climb Podbrdo (Apparition Hill) where the Virgin first appeared to the visionaries — a rocky ascent of about 45 minutes; go slowly and prayerfully. Afternoon in the village.
Pray the Joyful Mysteries on the climb; evening Mass and rosary.
Day 4: Medjugorje — Cross Mountain (Križevac)
The more demanding climb up Križevac to the great hilltop cross, praying the Stations of the Cross on the way (allow 2–3 hours round trip; sturdy shoes essential).
Pray the Way of the Cross up Križevac; quiet time at the summit cross.
Day 5: Medjugorje — community & encounter
A gentler day meeting the community: the Cenacolo community of recovering addicts, the Risen Christ statue, and time for confession (Medjugorje is known as a 'confessional of the world').
Make a sacramental confession; evening adoration and rosary.
Day 6: Day of prayer & reflection
An unstructured day for personal prayer, the daily programme, and perhaps a return to the hills at a quieter hour.
Eucharistic adoration; personal prayer and journaling.
Day 7: Excursion — Apparitions in the region
An optional excursion to nearby sites such as the waterfalls of Kravica or the shrine and old town of Mostar with its rebuilt bridge, balancing devotion with the region's beauty.
Midday prayer; gratitude reflection on the journey.
Day 8: Transfer to Dubrovnik
Return to the coast and the walled city of Dubrovnik: the city walls, the Franciscan and Dominican friaries, and the cathedral. A half day to explore the 'Pearl of the Adriatic'.
Mass at a Dubrovnik church; thanksgiving for the pilgrimage.
Day 9: Depart from Dubrovnik
A final morning before the transfer to the airport for the journey home.
Closing prayer and a Marian blessing before departure.
