Overnight flight to Athens. Begin reading Revelation 1–3 and Paul's Greek journeys.

Day 2: Arrive Athens
Arrive and settle in; gentle orientation and an early night.
Opening Mass / devotional service.
Day 3: Athens — the Areopagus
The Acropolis and Mars Hill where Paul preached (Acts 17). Allow a half day for each.
Read Paul's Areopagus sermon and pray at Mars Hill.
Day 4: Corinth
Ancient Corinth and the bema where Paul stood trial; a half day among the ruins of the church he founded.
Read from 1 Corinthians at the bema.
Day 5: Embark the Aegean cruise
Transfer to the port of Piraeus or Lavrio and board the cruise ship; first evening sailing into the Aegean.
Evening prayer at sea to open the cruise leg.
Day 6: Ephesus (Kusadasi), Turkey
The great port-of-call: Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities, the Basilica of St John over the Apostle's tomb, and the House of the Virgin Mary on the hillside above. Give it a full day.
Mass at the House of the Virgin Mary; read Paul's letter to the Ephesians.
Day 7: Patmos
The island of the Apocalypse: the Cave of the Revelation where John received his vision and the fortified Monastery of St John. The cave is small and powerful; allow time to pray.
Read Revelation 1 in the Cave of the Apocalypse; quiet prayer.
Day 8: Aegean island day
A classic Greek island port (such as Crete or Rhodes) blending early-Christian sites with time to rest and absorb the journey.
Shipboard prayer service; personal reflection time.
Day 9: The Seven Churches — Smyrna & Pergamum
From a Turkish port, an excursion toward the sites of the Revelation churches — Smyrna (Izmir) and Pergamum with its dramatic acropolis. Read the letters to each church on site.
Read the messages to Smyrna and Pergamum (Rev 2) at the ruins.
Day 10: Return to Athens · disembark
Sail back and disembark in Athens. Afternoon at leisure to consolidate the experience.
Thanksgiving service for the cruise pilgrimage.
Day 11: Athens — Christian sites
A final land day: the Plaka, the church of Kapnikarea, and any sites missed, with time for last reflections.
Closing Mass in Athens.
Day 12: Depart from Athens
Morning transfer to the airport for the journey home.
Final blessing for the road home.
