Short-haul and accessible, it is ideal as an entry-level or first-time pilgrimage. The Basilica complex and surrounding shrines anchor the days, with a side trip to the pyramids.

Day 1: Arrive Mexico City

Arrive and transfer into the city; gentle orientation and rest at altitude (over 2,200 m — take it easy on day one).

Opening Mass / devotional service to begin the pilgrimage.

Day 2: The Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe

The central day at Tepeyac: the modern Basilica housing the miraculous tilma (viewed from the moving walkway), the old Basilica, the chapels on Tepeyac Hill where the apparitions occurred, and the gardens. Give the whole day; the site is vast and devotional.

Mass at the Basilica before the tilma; pray the rosary on Tepeyac Hill.

Day 3: Teotihuacan & Tlatelolco

A side trip to the great pyramids of Teotihuacan (a half day; the climb is strenuous at altitude), then Tlatelolco and the Plaza of the Three Cultures linked to Juan Diego's story.

Quiet reflection on Juan Diego's journey; midday prayer.

Day 4: Historic Centre & shrines

Mexico City's historic core: the Metropolitan Cathedral on the Zócalo, and time for personal devotion back at Guadalupe or other city shrines. A flexible, prayerful day.

Mass at the Metropolitan Cathedral; afternoon adoration or personal prayer.

Day 5: Depart Mexico City

A final morning for last prayers at the Basilica or souvenir shopping before the transfer to the airport.

Closing Mass and a Marian blessing before departure.
