About St. Patrick's Cathedral

Ireland's largest church, built where St. Patrick is said to have baptised converts in a well that still exists within the cathedral grounds. Founded in 1191 and the national cathedral of the Church of Ireland, it counts Jonathan Swift — author of Gulliver's Travels — among its former deans, and his grave and epitaph can be found within its walls.
